oh my god it's scary. First day and I feel like shit.

Assault Rifles...

...people deliberate over the best of them. I think a lot of these people do it by only what others think. Like them military channel guys.
Here is my list. NOTE: these are opinionated, but some opinions are backed up by fact.
TOP 5 ASSAULT RIFLES:
NUMBER 5: G3
The G3 was put down by the good ol' G36, but come on guys, this thing kicked ass. This thing would fire .308 rounds that could easily tear through a military vest. The only thing that doesn't put this payload on the top spot is that the recoil is fucking ridiculous, nuff said.
NUMBER 4: AR-15
The AR-15, made by the good fellows at ArmaLight, was a great precision weapon. It could hit targets from 600 yards flat, and fires semi auto .223 Remmington 5.53 NATO shots. This gun is a killer, and if you don't take my word for it; This gun is used in the Irish Republican Army today to free Ireland from British control, and was the main weapon used in the Port Aurther massacre in Australia killing 35 people alone and lead to the banning of all semi-auto rifles from every state in province in Australia. This weapon unfortunately jammed when wet, muddy, or poorly cleaned.
NUMBER 3: M16
Of course, who couldn't love the M16? This weapon also is a killer, made by ArmaLite, that fired 5.56x45mm rounds that could easily take a lone enemy down from a good 600 yards, much like the AR-15. The only difference is that this baby is newer, more reliable, and more accurate. This weapon's only big problem, like the AR, was that it jammed quite easily in poor conditions.
NUMBER 2: AK-47
This weapon is a crowd favorite and the most widely used weapon in the world of it's category, making it a shoe-in for a high spot. This weapon is, unlike the ArmaLight series, does not jam when wet, muddy, punished, or well cleaned. You could knot together a string of shoe laces, cover them in oil, and pull it through the muzzle and, get this, it'll be good enough to fight on! This thing is extremely powerful with it's 7.62x39mm rounds, and could penetrate through 6 inches of maple wood. My problems with it are the fact that it's made of crude material causing in decrease of accuracy upon firing in bursts, if you hit it in the guts it could break the gun, and that it's effective range is about 400 yards, which is small compared to other rifles in this category.
NUMBER 1: M16A4
Another variant of the ArmaLight models, the A4 is now being used in Iraq today. This weapon now has a new and improved infrared laser dot sight, that can be seen even when gazing through night vision goggles. The weapon also is now even more accurate than the last two ArmaLight models. The weapon also now can be fitted with a portable grenade launcher, which of course is epic, and could also be cleaned easier (still with reliability difficulties, but not as much). The overall of this gun just shines for the category, and is a near perfect model. I love this weapon, and ArmaLight for making kick ass guns.
